Agile UX: The What, Why, and How
- Time & Place
You've heard of Agile/Lean UX, and you may have a grasp of the concept. You may even practice it.
But the fact is that there are lots of flavours of Agile UX, and what you practice may not be what the shop down the road practices. So what is it, and what works best? How do UX people adapt to a development-driven philosophy and methodology? What happens to your beautiful wireframes?
This event is about demystifying Agile by showing some of its day-to-day activities, and talking about some of the various practical approaches to Agile UX. We'll have a panel discussion, but we're hoping for a lot of participation; come with your questions, your experiences, and your rants.
We're fortunate to be joined by Todd Charron, an Agile coach who teaches organizations how to adopt Agile practices, and Desiree Sy of Autodesk, which pioneered an effective approach to Agile UX.
Thanks to Mozilla Toronto for hosting the event in their gorgeous new office! And thanks to Usability Matters for sponsoring our supplies for the evening.
