Throughout the first half of the 20th century, illustration was a male-dominated profession. But there were some women bold enough to stake out their own territory in this "old boy's club." This lecture looks at the their work and recounts there stories, often in the form of firsthand accounts from interviews Leif Peng conducted with the artists themselves - or from interviews with friends, family and co-workers who knew and admired them.
