Join Research In Motion's Joey Benedek and Wesley Yun as they talk about the growing importance of the user experience at RIM -- and the challenge of finding the right talent to fuel ongoing growth.
Joey Benedek, Director, UX Research, Research In Motion Joey manages the UX research discipline within RIM’s user experience (UX) group. He is responsible for user research for BlackBerry® software and services for both consumer and enterprise segments. Prior to joining RIM, he held a number of increasingly senior roles in user experience and product management with Microsoft. Joey holds a Masters in Human Computer Interaction from Carleton University.
Wesley Yun, Creative Director of UX, Research In Motion
Wesley joined
RIM earlier this year, bringing a wealth of experience as a visual design leader
for brands such as Palm, Helio, Nissan/Infiniti and many more. Now part of RIM’s
user experience (UX) group, he is helping shape the aesthetic design of the next
generation of BlackBerry® devices. Wesley studied Design Media Arts at the
University of California, Los Angeles.
