Event Information

For those of you have expressed an interest and have applied to speak at the next Ignite Waterloo event, to be held on July 7, 2010 at the Waterloo Children's Museum, we are organizing a workshop on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 7PM-9PM on how to deliver an Ignite talk.

This workshop will take place on the 2nd floor of the Huether Hotel in Uptown Waterloo.

We asked that you register to attend as spaces are limited. We invite all past Ignite Waterloo speakers to come out to the workshop as well.

Schedule

  • 7PM - Arrival
  • 7:15PM - Introduction by Ramy Nassar and Renjie Butalid and Mark Connolly followed by two short Ignite videos
  • 7:30PM - 3 past presenters each speaking about their experience for 5 min
  • 7:45PM - Break
  • 8:00PM - Each interested future Ignite Waterloo speaker sharing what they want to talk about in 60 seconds
  • 8:20PM - Open discussion between all past and future Ignite Waterloo speakers
  • 9:00PM - End of workshop
