Your ticket includes admission to all four of the fantastic events below, taking place over Friday, August 17 and Saturday, August 18, 2012!

Parking and shuttle available at the old Red Barn theatre location in Jackson's Point, handicapped and bike parking are available at De la Salle off of Metro Road.

The Fantastic Forest Experience, Friday August 17, 2pm-7pm

The Forest Event at SPLASH will provide a unique opportunity for about 500 people of all ages to step into a fascinating experience that will immerse them in the relationship between healthy forests and healthy water. The event is a half-hour stroll of surprises through the Metro Road Regional Forest, one of the 10 largest forests in the Lake Simcoe watershed.

A few at a time, participants will walk a winding path into the heart of the woods never knowing what lies ahead. Evocative experiences along the way will raise ancestral memories from many backgrounds including First Nations legends—stories, quests, mythology and inspiration (takes approx 30 min).

Jump, Jive and Splash in Jackson's Point, Friday August 17, 1pm-9pm

Come and celebrate this historic village considered Ontario’s First Cottage Country. Hosted by the Jackson’s Point BIA, this festival is sure to be fun for all. The local shop keepers and artisans will take to the streets, there will be food, entertainment and live music (Connor’s Music Student Showcase from 1-3pm & showcasing Domino from 4-8pm) in the parkette pavillion for all to enjoy. Park here and take one of the buses provided to ‘The Fantastic Forest Experience’ or ‘After the Storm’.

After the Storm Beach Theatre (De la Salle Beach), Friday August 17, 8pm-9pm

There's no roof over the innovative lakeside beach theatre at De la Salle beach, where After the Storm will take place. The sky, the earth and the water—whatever Nature brings—will be both the inspiration and the setting for over 100 dancers, acrobats, aerial performers and singers in a dramatic mix of circus daring and social theatre.

SPLASH Festival Main Day (De la Salle Park), Saturday August 18, 10am-4pm

Last year the lake was the shining star. The inaugural SPLASH Festival brought together over 2,000 people in De La Salle Park to kick back and love the lake, listen to music, interact with water innovations, eat local foods, play and learn, and try some 21st century silent water sports. The best of 2011 will reappear at SPLASH 2012 and several extra special events will be added to the lakeside festivities for the whole family.
