ACC Chess Class for Adult Beginners

Annex Chess Club is starting a new round of adult chess classes!

The ACC beginner course starts at the very beginning of the game, covering such topics as how the pieces move, how to check and checkmate, the relative value of the pieces, an introduction to strategy and tactics, and basic endgames.

• The class takes place on Monday evenings (6:00 to 7:00 pm) starting July 9
  
• The club address is 918 Bathurst, just north of Bloor (near Bathurst subway)
• This seven-week course runs from July 9 to August 27
• Participants are welcome to play casual games at the club at the conclusion of the class.
