We host events for entrepreneurs and startup founders around the world. They range from founder dinners to informal meetups to our Sprout Up events.
Before Guestlist we primarily used Eventbrite.
We love supporting local talent, so we first tried Guestlist because we knew it was a Toronto-based company. But then we fell in love with the product, so it was perfect – we can have great event management software and still support a local business. We've definitely tried other solutions, and I just find Guestlist is a much cleaner design, and it's way easier to create an event.
The experience was really simple. It literally took me less than 5 minutes to get my first up and ready to go. And the blog really helped me stay informed about what features were coming.
Guestlist is great because it works for impromptu gatherings and small events and huge events. Sprouter was one of the main organizers of Twestival Toronto, which had over 500 attendees, and it was so easy for us to incorporate Guestlist as our event platform. I use it a lot personally on top of the work I do with Sprouter.
I love that it's a startup, so I really feel like I'm helping the company grow when I talk about it and use it for our events. I also love that it's just so simple and intuitive to use.
Guestlist helps us focus on the event itself and making it the best event possible.
